Tristan Live Edge Walnut Bench

This gorgeous wood bench is the perfect addition to any decor. Handcrafted from Solid Black Walnut with nature's curves left intact and masterful joinery for strength and esthetics.  Functional, yet beautiful. 

The natural split from the drying process of this log was highlighted, instead of hidden. Bird's Eye Maple Bowties were used to add strength and interest to the split while black epoxy resin was used to further solidify the joint and fill it in. 

The bench legs were made from the same log and attached with hand cut mortise and tenon joinery. The stretcher is fastened with hardwood dowels. 

Finished with a durable oil coating.
